“Bacewicz x Bomsori” to represent Poland at One Country, One Film Festival

“Bacewicz x Bomsori”short documentary has been selected for the French festival One Country, One Film, which presents the latest cinematography from all over the world.
The idea behind the festival is to present the widest possible variety of short films, which is why only one title from each country is selected. This year, films from forty countries will be shown and Poland will be represented by “Bacewicz x Bomsori”, an intimate portrait of concert violinist Bomsori Kim as she prepares to perform Grażyna Bacewicz’s Polish Rhapsody for violin and orchestra live. As she discovers this piece, the violinist also gets to know the composer better. The film was directed by Jakub Piątek and produced by PWM Edition, with a co-production by FINA and Telemark, as an executive producer.
The 17th edition of the festival will take place from 6 to 21 March in Apchat, France. The film “Bacewicz x Bomsori “will be screened on Friday, 13 March. More about the festival here.
