Grażyna Bacewicz’s “Piano Concerto” live in Sweden

Peter Jablonski, an award-winning internationally acclaimed Swedish pianist, who is among the leading pianists of his generation, will perform Grażyna Bacewicz’s Piano Concerto in Helsingborg. The pianist will be accompanied by Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester.
In 2022, Peter Jablonski became a global ambassador for Karol Szymanowski, in a multi-year project in which he will perform and record the composer’s music throughout Europe and rest of the world, and take part in a series of short films about Szymanowski’s life and work. The same year, in December, Peter Jablonski was awarded the prestigious French Academy Charles Cros Award, Contemporary Music, for his recording of Grażyna Bacewicz’s piano music.
The concert will take place on 23rd of April at 7 p.m. Jablonski’s expressiveness meets Bacewicz’s lyrical landscape under the baton of Finnish conductor Emilia Hoving. Hoving, with her feel for both tradition and innovation, leads the symphony orchestra through these delightful, thought-provoking passages.
